Throughout the Lancaster District we are blessed with many truly locally owned independent shops and businesses. Northern Belles is one of those precious shops where not only will you find a fantastic array of choice, but a very welcoming and pressure free environment in which to browse and try on clothes, hats, shoes and accessories.
Three Years ago Jennifer Holmes opened Northern Belles. Jennifer used to be a stewardess on private jets and has been all over the world! When the glamorous job came to an end she returned home to Lancashire with suitcases full of gorgeous clothes from her travels and decided to set up a pre-loved clothes agency full of high quality clothing.
The shop itself is full of character, and a great place to come and browse. Jennifer and her crew are always on hand if you need any help, offering the kind of service not often available at high street chain stores. Being opposite Carnforth railway station, the shops location is perfect if you are heading into Carnforth on the train, or heading by car as there is a carpark within yards of the shop.
The shop is beautifully arranged with clothes, shoes, jewellery and accessories from designers such as Karen Millen, Boden, Monsoon, Coast, Per Una, Jack Wills, Hollister, Fat Face and Ted Baker amongst others, they really do have something for everyone. Now even stocking children’s clothing.
We are always on the lookout for designer clothing, shoes and accessories to display in our store to sell on your behalf.We ask that all items be in good condition, clean and pressed where possible.
