Frank started his decorating career in 1990 and now specialises in wallpaper installation and heritage decorating. Frank Holmes Fine Decor is based in Morecambe and works across Lancashire, the Lake District, and occasionally beyond. 

Frank has become one of the top Approved Lincrusta Installers and finishers in the UK. Combining an eye for detail with a flair for colour he incorporates traditional skills and decorative arts into his work. Frank also offers a repair and restoration service of vintage Lincrusta and Anaglypta wallpapers, dados often found in period properties.

Vintage Designs Re imagined!

Frank Holmes Fine Décor has a growing archive collection of heritage relief wall coverings managed by Amanda Holmes. Amanda undertakes archive research, finding the original catalogue image for clients and sometimes we can even name the original designer from the Arts and Crafts Era. We are releasing several special designs from the past in new mediums with optional bespoke finishes – find out more and visit the Home Interiors and Renovation Exhibition (HIRE Cumbria).

This new Northwest event, was founded Amanda and Frank who have teamed up with Rachel Cabble of Cable and Blake, Fabric of the Lakes in Kendal to jointly sponsor and curate the show.

As well as meeting the makers, designers and industry experts, visitors can attend inspiring talks, demos, and workshops. Special guests, TV Personalities Ray Clark and Vicky Grubb will bring their new ‘Sit on This’ podcast to the show on Saturday.
