A Fiery Event is coming to Lancaster!

The Lancaster BID are pleased to host another FREE event for Lancaster City Centre.

Taking place in the Town Hall, The Lancaster Chilli Fest is a one off, special event celebrating all things hot and spicy!

Held on the 24th October between 10:30 and 5:30 at the Ashton Town Hall (Dalton Square), this one day of fiery madness, is for anyone who likes it zesty and zingy!

The show will feature the very best of British chilli producers, who will be exhibiting chilli jams, chilli dips, chilli chutney, chilli chocolate and chilli beverages. For the less adventurous amongst us, there’s some flavoursome but mild cooking sauces available, but if you’re feeling brave, there will be extreme sauces and dips to try and take home. There’s even a range of chilli cocktails which are not for the fainthearted! Visitors can expect a day of chilli mayhem with lots of goodies to eat, drink, taste and buy!

This will be the fourth successful event from the Lancaster BID following the Treasure Trail over February half-term, Skate Ramp in April which was hosted at Lancaster Castle and the Lancaster Arts and Comedy Weekend over the late May Bank Holiday.

Manager of Lancaster BID, Liz Hickingbotham said, “The Chilli Fest event has proved very popular in other towns and cities and we hope that by bringing the event to Lancaster we can encourage a more diverse range of people into the city centre. The event will also allow us to showcase Lancaster Town Hall, one of the largest indoor spaces available in the BID zone, as well as attracting people into town in the hope they will see all the fantastic stores and eateries we have nearby.

Admission is FREE to all so make sure you come along and sizzle your taste buds!
