CBeebies production of Puss in Boots that was filmed in Lancaster
Lancaster based professional photographer Nick Dagger was on hand to capture the scene photography for the upcoming CBeebies production of Puss in Boots.
Filmed at Lancaster University’s Nuffield Theatre earlier this year, it sees the Northern Ballet team up with CBeebies and local school children to perform an enactment of the famous story.
Nick was contacted by the BBC and was delighted to capture his home city for the backdrop of the cast’s performance. Lancaster Castle and Williamson Park feature throughout the production along with other local landmarks, an exciting platform to showcase our city.
Nick said “It has been a real pleasure to be part of this lovely production and be part of the BBC coming to Lancaster. Reimagining local landmarks to help tell the story of Puss in Boots is so exciting and I can’t wait for Lancastrians to play ‘spot the local landmarks’ with their children during the show.”
Starring CBeebies favourites Maddie Moate & Danny Sebastian, this will be one to watch with the family over the Easter weekend. CBeebies Ballet: Puss in Boots will first be aired on Good Friday 19th April, at 09:00 on CBeebies and will be available on the iPlayer.
