The tearoom borders a beautiful orchard and natural river running past the Nursery, Shop and Tearoom; Daisy Clough has so much to offer and has grown to incorporate it’s surroundings perfectly.
The ample parking at Daisy Clough ensures there are plenty of spaces for everyone. The handpicked, dedicated and knowledgeable team working in the nursery have helped produce a fabulous and unique choice of over 700 varieties of perennials and grasses. Not only does the nursery specialise in perennials and grasses, there is an array of plants that are suited to growing right here in the North West, to be found alongside homegrown bedding, patio and container plants and vegetable plants. The team also keeps a wide range of shrubs, roses and trees, all of the highest quality at home grown prices.
The Scorton based nursery is on a mission to provide boundless inspiration, choice, help & advice in an interesting and welcoming atmosphere. Inside the nature inspired garden shop you are greated with a tempting selection of cakes and biscuit gifts and onto a large garden bird selection. Past the indoor plant display you will find a lovely display of candles, soaps and diffusers.
If you are looking for gifts, there is plenty of choice and a big selection of cards.
Daisy Clough stocks a lovely range of women’s clothes and accessories too, including jackets, shirts, dresses, skirts, scarves, hand bags, hats and jumpers. They stock White Stuff, Mistral, Nomads, Luella amongst other beautiful brands.
Towards the back of the garden centre there is a selection of garden furniture and fire pits that leads into the under cover outside area that is packed full of plants, trees and bushes and beautiful wooden owl statues.
If you find yourself drawn to the far side of the garden centre, no doubt you will have been attracted by the smell of the home cooked meals and cakes that are baked on site!
The tearoom is warm and cosy whilst being bright modern and homely, owner Jo chose the decor herself for the tearoom that was added to the garden centre several years ago.
A natural décor has been created with reclaimed, up-cycled furniture, offering an industrial feel with a garden twist!
Now it is buzzing with visitors, all looking forward to delicious home cooked meals and irresistible cakes (If you find you haven’t room, you can take the cakes away too!) With two delightful rooms to choose from and easy access for wheelchairs. During warm weather the undercover garden offers tables with views across the gardens.
