Defying Dementia joins National Giving Tuesday Campaign
We are delighted to announce that Defying Dementia at Lancaster University will be taking part in this year’s Giving Tuesday campaign on the 1st December.
Giving Tuesday is a celebration of the work undertaken by thousands of charities from across the UK to help raise awareness of pioneering research, acknowledge the fantastic work of volunteers and to generate support for the vital work that they are doing every day. This year, more than ever, charities need your support and Giving Tuesday is the perfect time to get involved.
In a year when Defying Dementia celebrated its fifth anniversary, Giving Tuesday will showcase the groundbreaking research being undertaken by the team at Lancaster University. The researchers have recently returned to their laboratories following the Coronavirus lockdown and they are determined to make up for the time lost over the summer months.
Defying Dementia is asking the Lancaster community to Share, Volunteer and Support the campaign as Giving Tuesday approaches in the following ways:
