‘Helping Hands’ in your home
Owner of Helping Hands, Suzanne Waring visits every new customer herself, ensuring that her 23 strong team are briefed ready to help each and every client, whether they need help with day to day chores, property maintenance, laundry services or cleaning.
Helping Hands is always a hive of activity that sees owner Suzanne Waring at the helm of what is an ultra-efficient cleaning service.
With domestic and commercial clients, Helping Hands provides a very different service than that offered by other cleaning companies. Independently owned, Helping Hands can assist with everything from day to day chores, garden and property maintenance, to laundry services and even personal home care.
The 23-strong team are fully trained and it is this robust approach to providing a professional service that is behind Helping Hands’ success – providing an unrivalled service at great value for money. From the cleaners and maintenance men who are trained to complete every job to an exacting standard, to Suzanne herself, who visits every new client to establish exactly what they require, the service at Helping Hands has become legendary!
“I speak with a lot of people who find it surprising that I actually go out and see clients,” explains Suzanne, who formerly worked for the police force.
“While I have a team of trusted managers and cleaners, when a new client calls us, I go because it’s my business and there is no-one more passionate about providing a good service than I am.”
Suzanne understands that every prospective client is different in their individual requirements as she explains:
“Some clients may require laundry services, that may be picking up and dropping off, hanging, folding, wash and fold, wash and iron – everyone is different”.
“Visiting prospective clients also gives me the opportunity to tell people about what we do and about my business.”
“We are not a franchise nor a cleaning agency, we are totally independent so the team all work to my high standards.”
With all members of the Helping Hands team possessing a clear enhanced CRB (DBS) check, they are able to work with anyone – from schools to private and corporate clients.
With all clients, commercial or domestic, each Helping Hands team has a manager, who works with the team and has dedicated clients.
“We try not to change that as the team gets to know the customer, their routines, their likes and dislikes,” says Suzanne, who after visiting prospective clients will draw up a proposal outlining tasks to be completed and other details to be considered.
“This is not a definitive, final guide, it is moveable so clients can, if they wish, add further tasks or, if they find something is not necessary they can notify us and we will revise their schedule.”
Having the extremely important task of scheduling at Helping Hands is Janet, who is responsible for entering the dates, times and cleaning schedules for each individual client, on a comprehensive system that has proved to be reliable and consistent. Helping Hands also has a vital quality control system in place to ensure that all clients are happy with the service they receive.
“If there is something not right, we respond quickly and efficiently to put it right. At Helping Hands 100 per cent satisfaction is guaranteed in all the work we do”.
“The result of this is we have received some fantastic feedback from clients.”
On-going training at Helping Hands is essential to ensure the quality of service is maintained, staff are kept up to date with clients’ requirements as well as the use of different equipment and products. The teams, who travel in Suzanne’s branded vans, take all the equipment required for the task – and specialist equipment, including steamers and polishers, are also available on clients’ requests.
To keep their cleaning and maintenance services bang up to date, Helping Hands is constantly investing in the business to keep ahead of the industry.
Because the service is independent and overseen by Suzanne and her vigilant team, customers won’t find anything similar in the area, as the high level of service that is provided ‘up front’ by the cleaning team is matched by the people working hard behind the scenes, representing unrivalled value.
