Lancaster Library Hosts New Games Night

The Friends Of Lancaster Central Library are keen to create more opportunities for the local community to connect without any financial barriers.

With the help of  volunteer and trustee games enthusiasts they have set up a new Friday evening games night from 6 – 9pm.

The games night offers a fun opportunity for the local community to try out exciting brand new board games and share favourite board games with others.

Thanks to the spacious setting of Lancaster Central Library, the local community can bring friends or family along with them to meet other board game players.

There is opportunity for role play gamers (like D&D) to host their own games group at the library without any charge and for those who want to learn more about how D&D works to learn more about how to play this immersive game.

With the colder weather still very much here, this warm community space also gives households the opportunity to switch off their tv, devices and heating and enjoy connecting with others.

There is no need to book, just turn up at 6pm to be let in, snacks and hot drinks are available.
