Throughout the year we run Beginners’ sessions . We have UKA trained course leaders. Everyone is a volunteer and has completed a prior C25K program
The sessions are free, but you have take responsibility for your fitness and follow the C25K training plan .
Whatever your level, do not be put off joining our running club. We welcome all abilities, from those at walking stage, up to a very high standard.
We have many members.
The Beginners’ Course lasts 10 weeks. By the end you should be able to run 5Km
All sessions start at the Battery Car Park in West End Morecambe at 6:30 pm Tuesday Evenings.
We are a supportive/caring group of runners with many years of experience. There are no dues or fees with Morecambe Community Runners our only aim is to see you achieve your goals and we will work slowly with you, building up your confidence, endurance and strength .
