Piccadilly has been the lead organisation for Person Centred Approaches in Lancashire for many years and we pride ourselves in our ability to provide a unique service tailored to the people we support. Our staff team are fully trained and experienced in supporting people with a diverse range of support needs. We are a Preferred Provider for Lancashire County Council, an accredited training centre with City and Guilds.
We provide activities and support to adults, young people and children with disabilities or other additional need.
People can come for a full day (or more), or for a few hours a week, or just in the school/college holidays.
A full day includes support to take part in our activities and for break and lunch time.
We also run an autism group twice a week for young people 16 plus and we run school holiday clubs for children and young people 11 plus with additional needs.
We provide activities in a real working environment, we have a plant nursery where plants are grown to sell on our shop which is open to the public. We have pine cabins which we use for our arts and crafts, and cookery sessions and we have a woodwork tunnel and mosaic room. We have plenty of open spaces and lovely gardens including a sensory pathway.
We offer a supportive environment for people to learn new skills, meet new people, socialise, improve confidence, keep fit and have fun!
We also run fully accredited training courses in Horticulture – City and Guilds level 1,2&3 Diploma
