Free to the visitor centre and cafe. Admission to hides and nature trails: Adults £7, children £3.50 (first child and under 5s free), concessions £4.50. RSPB members and those who have travelled to the reserve by public transport or bike, get in free.
RSPB Leighton Moss nature reserve is set within the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with lots of special birds and spectacular wildlife. You can visit nature trails with hides, look round the RSPB shop and visitor centre and enjoy a homemade meal in our award winning cafe.
- Open daily all year except 25 December 9 am to dusk.
- Visitor centre from 9.30 am to 5 pm or 4.30 pm in winter.
Easy to get to from Lancaster. By train is about 15 minutes and Silverdale station is only 250m away.
By car is about 12 miles away.
Take J35 off the M6 then follow the A6 north. Brown Tourist signs direct you to the reserve off the A6.
Use the Lancashire Cycleway.
