Picturesque Lockdown Project

The Picturesque Lockdown Project is aiming to highlight small independent businesses around our local area and raise community awareness of just how much their business means to us.

Local photographer Abi from Picturesque Photography wasn’t aware that a few of these little businesses existed, and wants to make these independents more widely known and hopefully encourage the public to buy their Christmas gifts from them.

Abi explained “I’m self employed for three different businesses – Turtle Tots Lancashire, South Lakes & Craven, Hartbeeps Lancaster, Morecambe & South Lakes and Picturesque Photography. So I know how much of a struggle it is when business has to stop, which is why I wanted to put this month to good use and set ourselves up for a busy Christmas period.”

I will be posting one local business a day on my Facebook and Instagram pages and encouraging as much interaction we can possibly get.”
