Silverdale & Arnside Arts Festival Returns
Silverdale & Arnside Arts Festival Returns, Showcasing the Work of over 70 Artists and Makers
Silverdale, Arnside and Storth will once again host a trail of open studios and collective exhibitions as the Silverdale & Arnside Arts Festival returns on the weekend of 27-28 June 2026.
This popular event, a reinvention of the long-established Silverdale & Arnside Arts Trail, will showcase a varied and multi-disciplined collection of work from over 70 local artists and makers from commercial artists to local groups and organisations.
The Arts Festival is a celebration of local creative talent and guarantees a showcase of original, one-off pieces. Meet the artists and makers, learn their creative processes and have the opportunity to purchase unique, handcrafted work directly from them. Come along and soak up the atmosphere, listen to live music and meet people.
This year’s event will be a trail of 20 locations held in a mixture of local venues and artists’ studios, a map of which will be available on the website.
Expect to see paintings, prints, ceramics, textiles, photography, stained glass, collage, mixed media, digital art, leatherwork, jewellery and more.
See first time exhibitors alongside established names such as artist Janice McGloine, meticulous three dimensional embroidery by Corinne Young, exquisite sculpture by Karen Lainson and fabulous illustration/surface pattern design by Gill Ferguson.
Returning once again is Silverdale Art Group, a group of around 40 local artists working in a mixture of media, who will be exhibiting in Gaskell Hall, Silverdale.
This is an event for the local community and beyond. Everyone is welcome.
