Living in the Lancaster district, a part of the UK with a long and interesting history, we are fortunate to have an abundance of historical buildings in and around the area. From many different periods of history each with its own unique story to tell, its highlights and some darker moments. In the first instalment of his ‘Six of the Best’ series, Features Writer Rob Bullock looks at six of the best historical houses in our area.
