John O’Neill, Manager of the Lancaster District Chamber of Commerce, said: “It’s great to be finally able to offer these start-up packages directly to local businesses and entrepreneurs. With two world-class universities and a great further education college, there is no shortage of talent being produced in the area
“It’s also important for existing businesses to understand that if they are starting a new division of their company, they could qualify as well. This BOOST money is there to be used and to help Lancashire continue its way as a great innovation centre, a great place to do business and to live.”
